i was thinking a tinyIOx in the Pi zero pcb form with all the the 0 - 5 volt conditioning on the board for sensors be it zero to 5 volt linear sensors or NTC sensors ( pull up ) the second half as it is now but in a full pi board section form with a 12 volt converter on board and maybe preset holes ...

another option would be a simple pass through mounting
this way you are not restricted to a certain size raspberry pi! :ugeek:

no problem all the the raspberry pi zero w stuff still has to arrive from the US into the netherlands it might actually be better to have the tinyIOx in a standalone casing so you can easily build circuits around the inputs and outputs build the gauge with a serial interface to the tinyIOx maybe it,...

i have 2 options in mind for a 52 gauge one standalone with the tinyIOx inside this as as a CAN bus gauge just doing display and one as a functional tuning gauge provided the pi ZERO W can handle it both with the adafruit 2.4 inch screen and 5 buttons for tuner-studio functions button 1 = power down...

ok file was over 2MB tried to zip it inside the rasberry but still to big

first let me post that i was succesfull in getting the serial device to work :lol:
when i created the dtoverlay
the line enable_uart=0 was created during reboot
i changed the number to 1
that was all that was needed
i am going to try the same with the serial interface now see if that goes offline to

yeh i figured the whole serial thing is going to be a sideproject
i have been digging through post and think i make progress very slowly
ok created a new MS3 project and selected the TTusb and MS3 1.5.0 release .ini
it,s online for a moment then goes offline

had some trouble with opening the zipped up project
it was seen by the scan but would not accept the connection
started a fresh project then it connected
so tinyIOx serial over serial-usb converter on the rasberry pi 4
