Re: TinyIOx

Interesting...... I have a spare Tiny..... Perhaps I will hook it up and see if I can duplicate your issue. Probably going to need to wait until next week though.

Ken

EDIT: Not certain it matters, but what firmware (just in case)?

Re: TinyIOx

How do I change the address of a TinyIOx? Do I even need to change the address if I am going to have multiple TinyIOx on the same CAN bus? You can change address' using the Port Scanner utility. I am confident that each TinyIOx needs it's own address. Hope that helps. Ken BTW.... what is a DAQ box?

Re: TinyIOx

Any thoughts on this?

If not I think I will just reinstall in the car and work with what I have.

Re: TinyIOx

Here you go, Jean...... I hope this reveals something. WARNING: This file has been severely twiddled!!! Thanks in advance Ken EDIT: Just did some more twiddling and found that the issue has nothing to do with PTE2..... However it does have to do with channel1 (port1 if you prefer). I reassigned PTE5...

Re: TinyIOx

Jean, I haven't the foggiest notion where this might belong, so please move it to the proper place. In fact, it may actually belong on the MSExtra forum, depending on what I learn here. MS2 v3, f/w 3.4.2 release TinyIOx f/w v0.2.0 I want to use FIdle for converter lockup. I also want to use all 4 Ti...

Re: TinyIOx

II have been using my Tiny to run my cooling fans, shift light, etc. for some time now, without any issues. After a very brief discussion over on the other forum, with Jean, I decided to try using 3 conditions instead of 2 to control the digital outputs. Long story short..... I managed to twiddle my...

Re: Whose ports are these?

As I threatened, I'm back again! It's time for me to get my old butt in gear and get ready to go racing in a couple weeks. So, here's what I want to use my TinyIOx board for, right now. MS2 v.3 w/3.3.1 release 2 stage fan control 2 stage nitrous control ( actually , only need 1 input & 1 outpu...

Re: Whose ports are these?

Thanks, Jean. That opens up some possibilities for me. Some time back I abandoned my 4 wire IAC, with the intention of using those ports for N2O control. Using the TinyIOx ports should allow me to get my IAC working again. As usual, I will probably need some assistance with specific settings, etc. I...

MS2 w/3.3.2 fw
TS v2.5.09

I was just poking around is some of the dialogs and found this. Are these remote ports ours(ie. IOx/TinyIOx)? I see a similar list for Nitrous control.

Re: Another logic level question

Thanks, Jean! For the time being, I'm going to pass on the SLC-OEM (I do have the evk though). Alan's Spartan sensor is working so well for me that I don't feel the need to change anytime soon. I do have some TinyIOx projects that I want to pursue, but I will start a new thread for those. See ya soo...

Re: Another logic level question

Just a quick post to close this thread. The v2.0 installation works flawlessly on the bench! It is driving eight D514A (LS7) coils in wasted spark. As you can see, I removed the DB9 connector from the driver board, combined it with a proto board and routed the driver outputs to a DB15 adapter card. ...

Re: Another logic level question

Although I freely admit that my method would not be considered particularly scientific, I did estimate the output voltage of that particular coil to be somewhere in the area of 14-16 kV!! Perhaps I should try that again and report back with the exact voltage? I can't seem to locate the precise...

Re: Another logic level question

If it is the shorter part Yes the shorter part is the dwell (4ms in this case). I am driving your board directly with the 3 LED outputs plus JS11 in exactly the same fashion as with your v1.0 board running the Ford EDIS coils. The new board seems to be working fine. I can personally attest to the s...

Re: TinyIOx firmware and ini

Jean,

Is there a way to query TinyIOx to ascertain which version is installed? I had set my project aside for several months and have forgotten what version I loaded last.

Thanks,
