coil negative to EDIS.

Post by 107merc » Thu Mar 10, 2016 12:36 pm

Making the switch to EDIS but wish to keep my stock tach that requires a high votage signal
Wired the MSII per section 3.5.5, setting up for a high voltage tach, using JS0 input and SPR3 output.
My question is, can I jumper the JimStim in some manner to test this circuitry through Tuner Studio
or will nothing happen without the relay coil.

Thanks.

Without the relay, this circuit provides a grounding signal which can be tested with the ignition LEDs. Just run a wire jumper between the SPR3 pin on the 19-pin header and the header pin for one of the 6 ignition LEDs.
