DIYPNP

Postby mrpham » Sun Nov 02, 2014 8:54 am

Hi Jean.

I tried searching your forums for an answer, but didn't find anything specific to the DIYPNP.

I'm having issues with the hall effect cam sensor in my Miata, currently connected to the VR2 input of the board with a 5V 470ohm pull-up resistor.

Will your Dual VR board be connected as such:
- cam signal to VR+ of the Dual VR board
- VR- floated
- Out1 connected to VR2 input of the DIYPNP

Thank you!

I don't have access to a DIYPNP (and there are a few different models) and there is no schematics publicly available so it's difficult to be certain. However, if the DIYPNP VR2 input is directly connected to the Microsquirt module then what you mention would be the correct way to go.
