Daul VR and TinyIOx on ADC channels?

Post by rickster » Thu Jan 01, 2015 8:12 pm

I have your tinyIOx board and I am already using the 2 digital channels for a pair of SLC OEM's. Can I connect the VR outputs to the ADC channels of the tinyIOx?.

My goal is to get 2 dual VR boards connected to the TinyIOx (VR sensor on each wheel - 4 total) to use with traction control on a MS3x. It would be slick if I had a way to get those signals to the tinyIOx so I could send the output to MS3 via the CAN buss...

Thanks,

Rick

You can connect the 4 outputs from the 2 dual VR boards to the timer 1 inputs (TPM1CH0-3). That will give you 4 speed inputs that the MS3 can use. You then need to enable the PWM inputs on the TinyIOx and set the MS3 to poll the data in the CAN parameters.

Let me know if you need more details on how to set this up.

Awesome! Thanks Jean. I won't be getting to this for awhile, but I will let you know if I have any problems.

Thanks again,

Rick
