Checking outputs from new version of driver board

Post by Bobbinn » Fri Mar 15, 2013 5:25 pm

Just got the driver board connected and modded the ms2 chip for the 4 injection channels.

My question is how do I connect the 9 way output connector to the jimstim to check the outputs are working?

You can use the ignition LEDs for the injector drivers and the IAC LEDs for the ignition drivers: http://jbperf.com/JimStim/JimStim_v2_0_ ... .html#leds. For the IAC LEDs, you will need to connect the driver board output on one pin and connect the other pin to ground. You will have to test the ignition outputs in 2 steps since you can only connect 2 drivers at the same time (only 2 IAC LEDs). Also make sure to connect the ground pin on the DB9 to the JimStim ground.
