Grounding Scheme for external board.

Postby Frogeye » Fri Apr 05, 2013 6:45 pm

I am using my 4 channel board in a separate enclosure from the MS3. Should I connect a signal ground to the MS and a high current ground to engine ground, or should I only use engine ground thereby ensuring that the high current ground stays out of the MS circuitry?

The signal ground on the board is completely separate from the high current ground so you won't induce any noise on the MS board by connecting the signal ground to it.
