Ms2 extra wheel speed problems

Post by William » Mon Sep 09, 2019 4:18 pm

Dear All

I checked All the other Posts about this question but I still not understand this completely.

I’m trying to build a custom dash and I want to make a gauge with speed and trip.
I have pwm1 count_h working and it registrate the pulses from my vr sensor. I want to transform this to speed and tried a custom channel where I set this expression:
(Gpiopwmin0 /2305)/3600

3600= seconds

Unfortunatly it Does not count anything when I use this output channel in a custom gauge. I don’t know much about programming but I hope someone can give me Some tips/tricks?

Best regards,

Please post your TIOx msq.

You need to take into consideration the timer speed in your computation. The output is not a number of pulses per seconds but rather the interval between pulses in clock ticks. So you need to check how much time each clock tick is (from the timer clock speed) and then use that to convert into a speed using your pulses/km.
