Hi Jean
Thanks for the reply,
The scanner detects the main controller CAN-00 but thats it ! there is no detected TinyIOX CAN-04, the bus measures 60ohms and
+5V Power is confirmed.

I also have the USBBDM-1-JS16 programmer from EVBplus but this would not work when I tried to write the .s19 file,
theirs a programming error
""Programming of the target flash failed!
Reason: Internal program error-please report""

The detected chip is DE-MC9S08DE32 but the chip used in the TinyIOX MC9S08DZ60 either chip makes no difference via the BDM.

If you used a BDM, you destroyed the proprietary program that was on the CPU and it will no longer work. That is something that should never be done.

Hi jean
OK Then how do you program the chip for the first time ? I think I read somewhere someone asked about the pin assignment and the 6pin header was for the BDM.
or is this just to load the Boot Loader program and then use the Scanner to load the s19 ?

If its surely Toasted you better send me a late Christmas present :D

I do program it with a BDM but then I'm the only one who has the bootloader and it remains only for my use and will not be distributed. And the publicly available s19 file needs the bootloader to work.

If you're lucky and depending on how you used the BDM, the bootloader might still be there. You will need to use the bootloader header: with power off, short the 2 pads and then power up the unit while keeping the pads shorted. Once the unit is powered that way and if the bootloader is still there, you will be in bootloader mode. Use the port scanner and if your TIOx is in bootloader mode, you will see it displayed and you can load the code.

If that doesn't work, you will need to return the unit to me for reprogramming.

Hi Jean
Is there an older version ini file that would match my current version when it was shipped ? Id like to try this even if its buggy.

The sticker on the back is TIOx10014KD074
This was shipped out around Oct Nov 2014.

I just tried the BL and it still not detected by the port scanner

Do you have stock for a new TinyIOx ?

The ini file is in this zip file: http://www.jbperf.com/io_extender/firmw ... v0_1_0.zip However, if you can't see the TIOx with the port scanner there's not much you can do with the ini file because TunerStudio will not see it either.

And I do have a few TIOx in stock here.

Hi Jean
Despite the fact that I'm using the latest v2 ini with an older s19.
So do these settings look correct ? I find many references to MS3 but there appears to some differences with MS2v3 MSnExtra in TS

That depends on the TIOx settings, what you have connected to your TIOx and where it is connected.

I still don't know about your TIOx settings or where the LC-1 is connected but assuming that the LC-1 is connected to the serial port on the stereo jack and you have things correctly set for this, you would need to change one thing in what you posted. You would need to use Remote ADC4 in the EGO control settings.

Hi Jean
Yes just the LC1 via the Serial connection, anyway I ordered the new TinyIOx ... I had issues before plugging in the BDM, oh btw it's now back in the Box out of sight

Will the TinyIOx be shipped with the latest FW ?

No. The baud rate needed for the LC-1 is 19200.
